The hotel was fairly clean with efficient staff and marvellous breakfast. Design of the rooms looked comfortable, rooms themselves were spotless and airy. And there were big beds. Nothing too much trouble, the venue met what was needed, recommend it.

The family room was super spacious and comfy. Loved the little extras like Welsh cakes and hot chocolate waiting for us. The staff was friendly and really attentive, especially during breakfast. Good quality and presentation of the food, too. A cozy spot to rest up, especially for a family.

Would be happy to recommend for a short interlude

Clean room, comfortable bed, and we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool that allowed us to unwind after exploring the city all day, with a great location, made it easy to get around.

The pool was just the right temperature, and the spa facilities made my stay super relaxing.

The leisure facilities feature a lovely pool that kids seem to really enjoy, particularly suited for family fun. The outdoor space includes a playground and sandpit, perfect for younger ones to burn off some energy and enjoy the countryside vibe.

Check-in is set for 4 PM, which really limits your time, especially when you have an early checkout at 10 AM. The breakfast setup isn't a buffet, which takes away the chance for a bit of self-service and flexibility, instead offering just a hot and cold choice from a limited menu. The entrance to the hotel lacks a bit of charm and could use more visual appeal-it doesn't exactly scream 'welcome' as you approach. The overall condition of the bathrooms in the rooms feels outdated, needing a good clean-up and refurbishing, particularly with some cleanliness issues noted in the shower areas.

The staff were accommodating, ensuring all my business needs were met. The room was clean, well-appointed, and featured a comfortable bed that facilitated a restful night. I also appreciated the quality of the breakfast, offering locally sourced ingredients and a variety of options that energized me for the day ahead.

The dining options were somewhat limited and pricey for what was offered.

The food was excellent! Our room had a splendid view, and the bed was like a cloud- divine for a cozy night's sleep.

But goodness, the tractor symphony at night was a bit much! I thought I was on a farm, not at a concert!

Perfect family getaway!

We had a blast! The kids loved the outdoor play area and I enjoyed the peaceful vibe. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was yum, especially those pastries! Only thing was the pool could get a bit crowded at times, but overall, it was such a fantastic family trip.

Fine countryside and delicious food

The room was cozy and well-decorated. The real highlight, though, was the excellent food at the Penny Bar. Each meal was a good experience! The only improvement could be.

Oh, you won't believe how refreshing the stay was! The breakfast spread was incredibly satisfying, with piping hot options that really hit the spot. Plus, enjoying the delightful spa treatments felt like a slice of heaven! The room was cozy and immaculate, making it feel like a home away from home.

Families will be fine here but not for ours

The hotel was fine on the outside as the same on the inside. The food was home cooked and delicious, accommodating to specific food requests.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

The staff ensured everything ran smoothly for the event. They made sure all guests felt welcome. The food quantities were good. It was clear that they pay attention to details.

It would have been better if the bar offered more local beer options.
